Posture check · Group Policy
Lower-tier account can link Group Policy above Tier 0 computers (T1484.001, T1222.001)
These accounts can link Group Policy objects to the domain, or to a container above domain controllers or other Tier 0 computers. A linked policy runs on every computer below it.
Why it matters
An account that can link a policy it controls here can run code on the Tier 0 computers below it. Exchange setup may have granted some of these permissions.
How GraphnAI finds it
It runs after every sync, on each connected domain or tenant on its own. It applies to Active Directory.
It reads:

Tiered Fidelity™ level: Theoretical
Every finding from this check carries the Theoretical level.

How Select Fire™ fixes it
How to fix it
Remove the link permission from accounts that don't need it. Where Exchange granted it, confirm with the Exchange administrator before you remove it.
What Select Fire changes
Select Fire opens from the finding and simulates each change on your live graph before anything changes in your directory.
- Remove the permissionManual: you approve each change one at a time, and no automation runs it.
Removing a link permission stops that account from linking policies here. Exchange setup granted some of these, and Exchange tasks that link policies will fail. Confirm with the Exchange administrator first.
By hand: In Active Directory Users and Computers, open the container's security settings and remove the account's permission to link Group Policy objects. If it is inherited, remove it where it is set.
